The performance of the RFID inlays could be affected by metals, foils, liquids, and glass. Special consideration must be taken when choosing tagging format and location for such products. Do not place RFID tags on the bottom of your product packaging. Recommended area of packaging to tag in is the side of the packaging near the top. No, each ALEC submission needs to have a printed PDF submission form and 5 RFID tags for the representative GTIN/UPC.
You can expect to receive feedback on your submission forms and/or product test forms within 10 business days. Questions submitted through the contact form or email will be responded within 2 business days. Please do not send repeated emails or create multiple email chains on the same topic.
RFID packaging providers implement the RFID inlay into your packaging. This can be in the form of a hang-tag, adhesive , or embedded into your current packaging. Please see more about RFID Packaging Providers here.
All products must have one EPC logo on the outside of the packaging so that it is visible by the consumer.
